What is FRP
It is a structural composite material composed of reinforcing fibers, typically glass fiber, embedded in a thermosetting polymer matrix (polyester, vinylester, or epoxy), whose function is to transmit and distribute mechanical loads, providing high structural strength, low density, and excellent corrosion resistance.
